DEMOCRATS REPUDIATE TTTM, l? Telegraph-Press Associatlon-Cnnyrkln London, July 2G. The. Democratic Conventiun at Nebraska, United States, repudiated the leadership of Mr. W. J. Bryan, tho well-known Democratic candidate for tho Presidency. DEFEATED IN,HIS OWN STATE. (Rec. July 27, 10.15 p.m.) New York, July 27. The Democratic State Convention, sitting at Grand Island, Nebraska, defeated Mr. W. J. Bryan's amendment against limiting the debate to certain resolutions. This has shut out Mr. Bryan's speech in 'support of country option on the sale of liquor, and marks his downfall as Demo-cratic-leader in his own State.
