SCALE OF FAKES.
The Miramar Borough Council Ims not only decided to reduce its tramway service, but has also reviewed the scale of fares... Considerable increases were proposed, but have not been adopted. The matter wUs before the council at a .special meeting in committed last . night, and after full discussion,, the following motion, which had been moved by Councillor M'Clelland- and seconded by-Council-lor Bell, was unanimously carried:—
"That the train fares remain at the present rate, and that" after the 1.2G p.m. Mirnmar. ear' oii' Saturday to Sunday night inclusive all cars on both linea be special cars,' with a special fare of 2d." -
