FIRE BRIGADE DISPLAY.

Sir,—l have to thank Councillor Ballinger for his courtesy in replying to my letter, also giving a copy of the letter as sent to. tho superintendent, Mr. O'Brien, very clearly showing that tho colnmendation passed by tho Fire Brigade.' Committee was all that could bo desfred, and that tho deputysuperintendont, officers, and men had not,'been overlooked as complained of. But ono would'naturally ask why was the letter not published in its complete form at the time, for tho information of tho public, tho satisfaction of tho admirers of our brigade, as well as animating tho spirit of, tho men. Nothing is more encouraging for tho men than to have their efforts acknowledged and ,apprcciated. Again' thanking you.—l am, etc., 'COMME IL FATJT. July 25, 1910.
