THE INDUSTRY EXPANDING. (By Telegrapli.—Press .Association.! ' Dargaville, July 23. , Great, strides arc being made in tho dairying industry. The report of tho Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company (their seventh year having just closed) shows that. .£16,254 18s. sd. was paid in advances to suppliers during the past season. After allowing for depreciation, etc.,, there was a surplus of ,£23OG 13s. Bd. The directors recommend payment of a dividend at the rate of G per cent, on fully paid up shares, and that a bonus of one penny l>er lb. for butter-fat should be paid to shareholders. That will bring the amount paid to suppliers up to 10id. per lb. Generally speaking, prospects for- dairying next season arc exceedingly bright. /
