TWELFTH WEEK. There is very little change in the order of the leading i»ns in .the egg-laying competition now being held at Papanui.. G. H. Robinson's two pens still lead, tho white Leghorns with 360 and the black Orpingtons with 357. 1296 eggs were laid during the week, and tho total now stands ,at 13,175. . Smith, white leghorns 33 '301 In the duck competition tho total has reached BSB, 102 eggs having been laid during the week. ,W. Knight's No. 1 pen of Indian Banners are well ahead with 206, W. A. Nixon's Indian Runners aro second with 170, and T. Daivthwaitc's Indian Runners are.third with 152.
