Tlio "Christian World" of Juno 9 states:—Rev. Harold S. Perkins, who leaves Tilbury to-day by the E.M.S. Rinnitaka for New Zealand, is a distinct loss to the churches in Dorset. At IMorceombelake, and later at Corfo Castle, where he was last year ordained by the County Association, he did a work which will abide. His breakdown in health came as a< painful surprise- to his brethren in the ministry; "We have never had a better comrade," writes one, while at Corfe, "he lias been everything to his people. They love him with an exceeding great love." On Sundays the village church, has often been crowded, people. • walking miles across the downs to hear him. . Next month Rev. John Dempsey, M.A., is leaving Bridport, in the same county, ■for Burwood, Sydney, New South Wales, and his success has not been uuliko that which has marked the ministry of Mr. Perkins.
