Preparations . are in wogross for the decoration-of the city in a scale, never before attempted. Train loads of flowers will come from ill parts of Canada and the northern states of the American Union, and on :-ho day of the procession the streets if Montreal will bo carpeted with tons >f ilowers. Each province of Canada vill set up its own triumphal arch. For ;hiit of the great grain-procliicinn; pro'iiico of Alberta, the farmers will seect the best oars of wheat from their arms. These will bo bound into iheaves and built into the arch, and lunches of grapes will lie fixed on it t<l orni the inscription, "Homage from the ■'rovincp of Alberta." After the.pro•ession the wheal of the triumphal arch vill bo threshed and ground and the lour made into altar breads for the ihurches of Montreal.
