SOME INTERESTING FIGURES. The last weekly number of "Dalgety's Review" reports: — There luis teen a steady demand for choice quality butter in Sydney at 1225. per cwt., but owing to its'scarcity iu Queensland tlio value of finest was raised to 1245. per ewt. in Brisbane the beginning of this. week. Supplies of butter in this and the northern State continue to decline. In Victoria, however, they are steadily, though . slowly,' increasing. - ' The top price for best brands of butter in Melbourne" is l's. Id. per lb., while good quality is obtainable at from Is. to Is. OJ-d, per lb. . There arc- indications that the Commonwealth will commence exporting new season's butter within the ensuing few weeks.
