MAKE YOUR OWN HAIR TONIC.
A SPECIALIST'S ADVICE.. In a recent issue tho 'T3aily Mail" of London published a. special article on the care of the hair in which was given tho formula for a home-made hair tonic that was highly recoil"mended for its remarkable hair-growing properties, as well as for stopping falling hair, revitalising the hair roots, and destroying tho dandruff germ. This article was of special interest to me, as the formula was one which I, myself, have seen used in countless cases with most astonishing benefit, thus confirming my belief that homemade hair preparations are the best. For the benefit of those who have not seen it before, I give the formula herewith. Procure from your chemist a fourounce bottlo containing three ounces of Bay Rum, one ounce of Lavona de Coinpo=ec (Smith's), and { dram Menthol Crystals. Dissolve the crystals in the Bay Rum, and then add tho Lavona de Composee; shake thoroughly and apply night and morning to the roots of the hair, rubbing into tho scalp with tho linger tips. This preparation contains no colouring mattor, but restores grey hair to its original colour by its action on the hair roots. If yoii desire it perfumed, add half a spoonful of French Fon Fleur perfume, which combines perfectly with the other ingredients, and imparts a must pleasing scent. (Do not apply where hair is not. desired.) —Advt. . I
