Orio pound flour, half pound suet, one ■ - -teaspoonful of baking powder; milk to mix;.ono pound figs;, salt. Shred and chop the suet. Mix _ the ' flour,' baking, powder, suet, and a.pinch '• of. salt together. Mix to a stift paste with milk. Roll out about i inch. Cut the figs into small pieces, spread . over the crust. Wet the edge and roll up. Dip a cloth into hot water ; ring out. Tie the pudding in the cloth, put into boiling water, and boil three hours. FOR TO-MORROW. Uo ■ pounds steak. 1 Curry powder. Apple.
