CAMDEN TRAGEDY.
SUSPECTED MAN IN PRANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrisht. Paris, July 20. A man resembling Crippen was seen, on Sunday last at Vemet-les-Bains in the Department of the Pyrenees-Orien-tals, but by the time gendarmes had arrived on the scene ho had fled to Spain. The man in every way resembled Crippen. He described himself as Henri Talbot, a land-owner in Narbonne, but inquiry at Narbonne showed that lie was unknown. He drove from Mont Louis to I'uigcerm, in Spain, a distance of twelve miles, in a carriage. POLICE POWERLESS. London, July 21. The police state that they were without chins, and were powerless to detain Crippen until they had discovered the body in the cellar, by which time he had fled.
