CANADIAN GRAIN-GROWERS' PROTEST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. ' (Rec. July 20, 1.20 a.m.) Ottawa, July 19. A deputation from tho Manitoba Grain-growers' Association met' Sir-'Wil-frid Laurier at Brandon and protested that tho tarilf was retarding tho country's development. They urged that the Government should acquire and operate the terminal elevators, and establish an export trado in chilled meat under public control.
