Messrs. - Dalgety and .Co., Ltd., report:— At -our Woodvillo sale yesterday a fair entry of. all iclasses -was submitted to a large attendance- of buyers, 'most lines cnanging;hahds.:; Two, four, aid six-tooth jvcthers reached-15s. 7d.;-s;m. ewes in lamb, 125.; cull h'oggets, 6s. ' 9d:; Cattle were represented by dairy heifers, -which sold from 955. to 100s. 'iilepsrS.-. Abraham ajid ■w imams, having' acquired an : interest In the yards, have abandoned their old ones, and, for the first time, the three firms operating at Woodvills, ' sold together, much to the satisfaction of both buyers and vendors.
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., re-* port haying, held their fortnightly sales at "Wanganui, on July 13, and at Waverley on July 15. At Wanganui they-yarded . 200 cattle and 15C0 * sheep.
