Tho following particulars of tho committee s .work'done have been supplied.: — 1.. Various minor details in the society's i programme havo baeai attended to by t the special committee appointed, and Severy effort has been maao to ensure [the spring show proving as attractive i as ever. j A lady • hunters' competition is to bo } included in tho second day's events. ' I'■■ The amateur judging is to be tried on i the yearling dairy hoifor class, and a [class'for itonmey Marsh sheep. • ' A class for mare best calculated to I improve the breed of hacks has also I been included in tho schedule. t An additional prize of £3 3s. has been i allotted, to the winners of the chanij pionships in the Jersey classes, which ; prizes are allocated to the Wairarapa i this year by the Jersey Herd Book Asj" Booiation. i ■A. special committee has met to apj point t judges; with whom the society ■ is now' in communication. f A committee of ladies has added to [the : 'classes for home industries, and t if'. the interest aroused . last year by [these exhibits continues, tlie display in 1 the '"Agricultural Hall 'should prove one iVof the principal attractions, especially I as the ladies have undertaken to ar- [ range, the sewing and fancy work.
