Crippon, the American dentist, whose wife's body was found buried iu the coal cellar of a hoijse formerly Occupied by him, was seen in London to-day. . Mrs.' Crippon, who was on the'musichall stage, disappeared in February, hud Crijmen informed callers that she. ■was on tho Continent recuperating, and also inserted an announcement of her death in the press'. Crippeu has since been found to have represented to the neighbour's that his wife had gone away from him, and had died in America,- where her body was cremated. Two friends informed the police .of their suspicions, and Inspector Drew, of Scotland Yard, interviewed Crippon, who readily answered the questions put to him. He denied the American story, substituting one to the elfect that he.and his wife quarrelled, aiid that she left him. Crippeu disappeared on Saturday last with a woman. who passed as his wife, and who was wearing his wife's jewellery. •' All the ports are being watched. MORE POLICE, CLUES. (Rec. July 15, 11.30 p.m.) London, July 15. The police suppose that Crippen's typist, Ethel Leneve, accompanies him, disguised as a boy, as Crippon pur-; chased.a boy's suit on Saturday. Crippon represented Munyon's Remedies in London before starting practice as a l * dentist. The newspapers publish forged letters written in connection with Mrs. Crippen's disappearance.
