Before submission, and consequent upon the decision of tho General Meeting that notices, with Report and Accounts, should be issued 21 days before the meeting, the following alterations were made on tho advice of the Society's Solicitor :rClause 144.—T0 provide that ■ nominations for tho office of Auditors must bo lodged not less than 28 days before tho meeting, in place of 21 days. Clause 145.—T0 provide that the books must be handed to the Auditors not less than 35 days before, and the Auditors shall report' thereon not less than 28 days before the annual meeting, in place of 21 and 14 days respectively. NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council desires to afford tho Scholars of all Schools'in the City of< Wellington an opportunity of planting trees on Arbor Day (WEDNESDAY Next, the 20th instant), aud for this purpose will be glad if the Head Masters desiring to take advantage of this opportunity- will be good enough to place themselves in communication with tho Superintendent of Reserves (Mr. Glen) at the Botanic. Gardens, not later than MONDAY next/ the 18th instant, aud notify hiin of the number of trees they can undertake to plant, in order that an apportionment, of tho trees available for planting may bo made. NOTICE is hereby given that the Eastbourne Borough Council intends to mako a General Rate of lid. in the pound on tho unimproved value of the rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne; an Annual Sanitary Fee of 10s. on each pan; and a Special Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of 9-G-ld. in the pound on the capital value of the rateablo property in the said Borough for the period boginning Ist April, 1910, and ending on tho 31st March, 1911. The Special and Continuing Rate of id. in the pound, unimproved value, on account of No. 2 Loan of UMSOO will.also be levied for the current year. Such rates will be payable in one instalment on the first day of August, 1910.
