APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL. In committee last evening, tho City Council considered the Lyall Bay land purchase proposals, and finally resolved, .frtcr considerable debate, to accept the offer made by the trustees to sell tho 2fl acres required at .CIBO an acre—.£36oo. Councillor Devine subsequently gave notice of motion to rescind this decision, and tile matter is therefore hung up til! the next meeting of the council.
