LANDSLIDE DESTROYS A VILLAGE. Hf Telegr»Dh-I'reß3 Associatlnn-Conrrlfrbt' (Rec. July 12, 10.10 p.m.) Berlin, July 12. Great floods have occurred in the valleys of the Lech, a Bavarian tributary of, the Danube, and the Ncckar, one of the principal affluents of the Rhine.
A landslip near Wislock completely ruined a village, the inhabitants of which, however, had fortunatply been forewarned and had fled.
FRANCE UNDER WATER
(Rec. July 12, 10.40 p.m.) Paris, July 12. ' The public gardens at Chalons-sur-Marnc, on the Seine, are submerged. The valley of the Oise, below Paris, has been transformed into a swamp. Floods are reported in all parts of France.
SWISS CROPS RUINED. > (Rec. July 12, 10.40 p.m.) • Berne, July 12. Extraordinary rains throughout the eiuntry are ruining the crops.
