In Trafalgar Square yesterday, a bi[ demonstration, under the auspices of th> National Union of Women's Suffrage So cielies was held. There was an attendance of ten thousand, including many delegates from every part of the country. There were innumerable banners and streamers in symbolical colours ami devices.

Six piatforms were- used by tho speakers.

Motions in favour of the women's suffrage measure, recently introduced in the House of Commons by Mr. I). J. Shackleton (Labour member for Olitheroe, NorthEast Lancashire) were carried.
