SMUGGLED DIAMONDS.
DIG HAUL REPORTED IN SOUTH AFRICA. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Berlin, July 10. German newspapers report that women travelling from Ludcritz Bay to Capo Town, smuggled out of Damaraland (German South-West Africa) diamonds to the value of ,£IOO,OOO, and handed them to the steward of a German liner.
The liner will be searched on arrival at her destination.
