STREET-TRADING.
EMPLOYMENT OF GIRLS INDEFENSIBLE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. London, July 10. A Departmental Committee, under tho presidency of Jlr. Simmons, K.C., M.1 , ., has recommended the abolition of street trading by boys up to the age of seventeen, and of girls up to eighteen years.
The report adds that street trading by girls is entirely indefensible; no system of regulation would bo ablo to rid it of its risks and objections.
