Richard Whitoing, author and journalist, formerly osi the staff of various London and provincial nowspapers, and author of "No. 5 John Street" and other novels—.£loo per annum in consideration of the literary merits of his publications.
Mrs. H. G. Seeley, widow of the lato Professor Ilarry Seeley, who occupied tho chairs of geology and geography at the Geological Laboratories, King's College, London—.£7o per annum. Lady Monson—JSlOO per annum. Both tho ladies receive pensions because of their lato husband's services.
