It is stated that the United States Secretary of State (Mr. Knox) has learned from Madrid that the President of Nicaragua has offered a certain European Power the uso of a coaling station in Nicaragua, if it will intervene on his behalf in the local revolution. It is considered in Washington that it is a foregone conclusion that the oifer will not be accepted.
