The members of tho Toung Maori Party have for many months been anxious to repay in somo way tho Y.M.C.A. for the generous and timely assistance rendered at their great congress in 1908. Frequently Maoris in all parts of the country allude to the help received from the Y.M.C.A. The association is urgently in need of funds for the development and extension of its work for young men and boys, and three great Maori concerts aro to be held in tho Town Hall on July 26, 27, and 28. The Hon. A. T. Ngata and the Rev. F. Bennett will assist in tho direction of these concerts. The, Rotonia Mission Choir will attend, and also poi dancers. Mr. rigata is undertaking tho hnkos, and Miss Jlirn Stirling, of To Auto, will sing. The famous guide, Maggie, will conduct tourists through scenic resorts by moving pictures. A remarkable and unique piourauime will bo presented, of which full particulars will he published later.
