TEMPERANCE MAN SHOOTS BARKEEPER. LYNCHING FOLLOWS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (ike. July 10, 5.5 p.m.) Kaw York, July 9. Ten Anti-Saloons League detectives raided an alk-ged illicit saloon at Newark, Ohio, and shot the landlord, causing his death.
Subsequently, when nine of the detectives were arrested, n mob battered in the prison doors and lynched the man who did the shooting in the public square.
