FURTHER CENEROUS DONATION. FINE BLOCK SECURED. A further, gift has boon received by the Wellington Boys' Institute from the generous anonymous donor whose gift' of £2000 to the institution ivas recorded in those columns 011 Monday last. The latest gift consists of the sum of £360, the _ balance required to purchase the section at the rear of the one already donated (with a frontage to Tasman Street). The institute is now in jiossession of a block of land (nearly half an aero in extent), which extends from Tasman Street to J3elfast Street. The latter street debouches 011 to Sussex Square (south), and, therefore, this mio property is only a minute's walk Irom the Basin lie,serve, which will bo largelv used by the boys as a playground. The block has frontages to Lasman Street of 41ft. and to Belfast Street of 50ft., whilst the depth ol : the block is 300 ft.
The above locality plan slows by the diagonal lines the site of the new lioine for the Institute and its immediate environment.
