At the Henley Royal Regatta, Magdalen College (Oxford) beat Jesus College (Cambridge) in the race for the Grand, Challenge Cup. In the race for the Diamond Sculls, Einnear (London) beat Lucas (Germany), and Stewards'(of the Winnipeg Rowing Club) beat Mainzer (of the Ruder .Club).
