EMIGRATION. BOARD OF TRADE FIGURES. London, May 27. The, Board •of Trade figures : for the emigration from the United Kingdom during April show that no fewer tliau 52,658 British subjects'left for places out of Europe'last month, as compared with 32,533 in April, 1909. Of these no fewer than 30,565 went to the Oversea. States and British possessions. The following table shows liow the emigrants were dis--tributed :— Canada 23,728 Australia and New Zealand 3,815 South Africa 2.07 P India 341 ■British Colonies 60:3 United States '20,78-1 Other foreign countries 1,309
