(From Our Own Correspondent.) — « Yesterday's sitting of the Petone Police Court was presided over by Messrs. London, Caverhill,. and Southgate, J.P.'s. E. Bates was charged with assaulting G. Parrant on June 22, and was fined 10s., with costs Vs. For using threatening behaviour, John Tailored was lined 10s., with costs 7s. An information against TV. M'Lean, who was charged with using obscene language in a public place, was dismissed. For endangering the property of. Alec. Mullerider, by throwing stones, Frederick Dean was fined 2s. 6d. and lis. costs. An offender charged with , leaving a vehicle unchained was fined is. Two prohibition orders, were issued.
