- WOOD EXPORTS. According to the statistics-'compiled-by Dalgety and Go.,- Ltd., for the wool year ended June 30, the exports from Australasia reached the record. total of. 2,434,643 bales, valued at £43,128,496;.' as compared with 2,288,104 bales, valued at £25,950,912 in 1909, and 2,057,831 bales, valued at £26,768,952. The past year exhibits an. enormous gain over either 1909 or 1908, and tho best ofthe increase comes . from the enhancedvalue. It is interesting to note that production has shown a steady-expansion in rcceiit years, and "the, following figures showing the exports for the past ten years will be of interestsJune 30. There is.not a, very great increase in the number of sheep, but the stock is of better class, and the clip for sheep is bigger.

£1,494,617 £1,376,771 There is a gain of over £100,000, which may be regarded as satisfactory. For the three months ended June 30 the total was £5,274,833, as compared with £4,936,665, and for the twelve months ended Juno 30, the value was £20,440,837, as against £17,164,741 in the previous year.
CUSTOMS REVENUE. Customs revenue collected at Wellington yesterday amounted to £2014 4s. 9d. .
