Mr.-Clias. H. Stephens has decided to remain in New Zealand, in order to devote himself to public singing and teaching. Mr. Stephens (who sang tho tenor music in "Hiawatha" for the Musical Union last week) will' bo remembered by many in connection with Sullivan's delightful "Songs of the Wrens" which lie sang at tho Dunhill concert in the Town Hall some two years since. Blaniires, who will be supported by other ministers. The Lyric Male Choir of 100 voices, under tho baton of Mr. 11. Gladstone Hill, will render special selections of music: "The Radiant Morn that Passed Away" (Woodward); "And the Glory of the Lord" (from "The Messiah"), and a grand part song, "Comrades in Arms." An efficient ofchestra ■ will'be in attendance. The evening service will v be conducted by Rev. E. O. Blaniires, and Miss. Dawson will render a sacred solo.
