The English aviator, Mr. Grahame .White, and others, will nominate a committee to utilise Ladj- Abdy's gift of wfcoO.OOO. for the construction of an airship or a combined airship and plane, or aeroplane, to carry passengers from London to Paris. LADY ABDY DENIES THE GIFT. BUT WANTS TRIP HERSELF. (Rec. July 7, 11.5 p.m.) London, July 7. Lady Abdy denies having given <£50,000 for the construction of an aircraft to parry passengers from London to Paris. She states: "I want Mr. Grahame-White to build an All-British aeroplane to carry pie from London to - Paris."
