GARRISON LECTURE.

A lecture under the auspices of the Garrison Non-Commissioncd Officers' Club was delivered at the club rooms nn Friday last by Captain Duignan, entitled

"The American Civil War." There was a fair attendance, and tho lecture was well received. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to tho lecturer at tho conclusion, when a presentation of a trophy was made to Corporal Chandler, tho winner of tho rcccnt billiard tournament.
