On Saturday evening the members of the Garrison Band mado a presentation to Sergt. J. A. Donaldson, who has resigned from the band after having been its solo euphonium player for the past eighteen .years. The presentation, which consisted of a handsome r.ilvcr teapot, was handed to Sergt. Donaldson by the conductor, Lieut. T. Herd, who praised the work of the recipient and referred to his lino manly qualities. Sergt. Donaldson responded suitably.
