LODGE MEETING.

The weekly session of the King's Coronation Lodge of Good Templars was held on Friday evening last, Pro. .T. Allen. C.T., presiding. After routine business had been disposed of, the lodge was thrown open to visitors, the .arrangements for tho evening being in charge of Sisters Rodda and Hansen. A capital programme of music and songs was gone through, the performers being Sis. Hyde, Bros. Hague, Morris, Wilson, Lambert, Bratlle, Bell, Price, Knowles, and Israel. Refreshments were provided by those responsible. During the eveniug the following resolution was carried:

"That this meeting of the King's Coronation Lodge, 1.0. G.T., place on record its entire satisfaction that the recentlyheld Dominion Alliance Convention in Wellington has adopted as its platform 'Prohibition for the State on a bare majority.'" A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to all who had assisted to make the evening a success. For next meeting there are set down two good competitions and a Dutch auction.
