WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.

MONTHLY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of tho Wellington Land Board was held at tho District Lands and . Survey Office, Wellington, yesterday. There were -present the Commissioner (Mr. James Mackenzie), Messrs. H. T. Ellingham, Jas. Georgctti, and W. M'Lennan.

Tho commissioner reported that Mr. W. M'Lennan had been appointed a member of the board, and extended to him a cordial welcome in a few well-chosen words.

Mr. Page, of Page and Page, Eketahuna, attended, and asked that some small pieces of Crown lands adjoining Mr. Godfrey's holding in Block IV, Mangaone, and on one of which his homestead is situnted, be sold to Mr. Godfrev as the adjoining owner.' It was resolved (o obtain a report from tho Crown Lands R'tnger.

Mr. Treadwell and Mr. Collier, senr., attended with reference to Mr. J. M. B. Collier's application for issue of title to Section 7, Block IV, Ngamatea. After hearing the parties, the board went into committee.

The board sat in committee for tho greater part of the day.
