SOME 03T THE RESULTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Hastings, June .30. Visiting exhibitors to the Hastings Poultry Show were banqueted by tiie local society. They emphasiscu tlio need for a .North Island Championship Show, and favoured it being 'held at Hastings. Some of the results of the'judging:— Championships—Miiiorcas: ■ Black cockorol, Casey Bros., Khandallah. Leghorns: brown cock: E. H. Holland, Bunnythorpe. White Leghorn lien, E. H. Holland. Orpington cock: A. E. Stonex, Auckland. Plymouth Bock: Barred cockerel; AV. E. Sowman, Blenheim. Plymouth white' cock: C. -H. Pickering, PaJmerston.
The following additional North Island championships were awarded to-day at the Hastings Poultry Show:— Poultry.—Modern Game, Master James Brady (Clivc); Indian Game, Mr. E. J. Copas (Auckland); buff Orpingtons, Mrs. S. Reed (Woodville); silver Wyaudottes, Mr. \V. A. Sowman (Blenheim); white Wyandottes, Jlr. H. Hoy Burrett (\Yangamii); Pekin ducks, Mr. 11. J. E. Mey--1 rick (Carterton). Pigeons—Dragoons, Mr. T. E. Boyes (Wellington); African owls, Place Bros. (Wauganui); Blandinettes, Mr. D. Murphy (Wellington); magpies, Mr. J.
