QUEENSLAND ACTIVITY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Eec. June 29, 9.45' p.m.) London, June 29. There was a large and representative attendance at the Queensland annual banquet. ■ Sir T. Robinson, Agent-General for Queensland, in replying to a toast said it was impossible for Queensland to forget she had received King Edward's last message. There could bo no greater evidenco of his late Majesty's devotion to public duty. Tho present year was likely to be a record one Tor Queensland as regarded immigration. During. tho last six months he dispatched 3515 emigrants, and already 700 had booked for July, and also 500 for August. Tho class and character of the emigrants were improving. Those who had sailed during tho present year had remitted ,£28,800 sterling to their destination. ■
