Ultimately, of two robbers who fought a duel with tho police, one was killed and tho other dangerously wounded. A third, who was arrested after a sharp encounter, was identified as Landregan's murderer, and as belonging to a gang which terrorised Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Boston, in 1908, when two men were killed.
