Estate of Hie value of £237,403 gross ami £130,673 not was loft by the late Mr. Arthur Fniser Walter, of Boar Wood, Berks, chief proprietor ot "Tho Times," who died ou February 22 last, at tho ago of G-l. Probate of his will, dated January 1, 1908, with two codicils, dated July 21, 1908, and December .15, 1909, has been granted to his sons —Mr. John Walter, of Courtneld Gardens, S.W.,' and Mr. Stephen Walter, of Cornwall Gardens, S.W., barrister-'aWaw—and his son-in-law, Mr. Arthur Edmund Gill, of Chemies, Oakwood Hill, Ockley, Surrey, police court magistrate. The will contains less than 1000 words, and is written in the testator's ' own hand. He left: £250 each to tho executors; £10,000 each to his daughters ~C:>rottiy (Mrs. Gill) and Olive; To his wife, Mrs. Henrietta Maria Walter, a life annuity of £1500, charged on his real estate; £23,500 to liis sou Stephen (reduced by the first codicil from £30,000 to £20,000, and by the second codicil to " £23,000, the reason for tho latter reduction being that since the dato of the first codicil testator's income had been considerably diminished, and his property reduced in value). Subject to tho above bequests, he left all his other property to his son, John Walter. —"Daily News."
