THE AMERICAN COMMISSION. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. Washington, June 23. The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has approved the House of Representatives' resolution asking President Taft. to appoint a commission of five distinguished Americans to confer with foreign Governments on tlio subject of world-wide peace. Mr. Taft has intimated to Mr. Roosevelt his (Mr. Roosevelt's) appointmentas president of the proposed WorldAVide Peaoo Commission.
