A meeting of the Management Committee of Clio Petone St. Aupu>tines Cluu was Mel last evening, when the Rev. J. D. Russell occupied the chair. 'I he resignation of Mr. F. A. Mason (m'lid has been leader of the class for the past lour years) was accepted with regret. Jt was resolved that certain alterations and extensions to the rooms hf proceeded with at once. The half-yearly social in connection with the club will bo hold on Wednesday, July G. It was decided to hold the half-yearly meeting early in July. A meeting of those interested in forming a Petone State School ex«Pupils> Association will be held in the.Kanfurly Hall on Monday evening next. The conveners are Messrs. H. Johnson, .1. Olsen,, *• Dolling, and J. Dewliirst. Bro. Brocklebank presided at the halfyearly meeting of the lioyal Petono -Lodge (Oddfellows), held last-evening. Officers for tho ensuing term were elected as follow:—W.G., Bro. Brown; .V.G., Bro. Wornali; E.V., Bro. Ealin; guardian, Bro. Lindsay; warden, Bro. Home. Bro. J. Wright was elected to the hall committee, vice Bro. Haigh, elected trustee. Bro. Brocklebank was appointed lodge representative on the ambulance van committee. Sick stewards: Bros. Home, Bovd, and Brocklebank.
