In connection with the consccration of Westminster Cathedral, the Duchess of Norfolk has presented a bell for the tower known as St. Edward's. It. is now bcinff made at tho Whitechapel Bell Foundry, which, established in 1570, has been the birthplace of so many of our noted cathedral peals, and of some of the largest bolls in the country and oven in the world. Tho bell the Duchess of Norfolk is giving will bo similar to tho famous "Bow Bell," tho tenor of the peal at St. Mary-le-Bow Church, Cheapside. The skipper had an awful cough, Tho night was fierra and dark; Tho rocks were close, the sea was rough; Tho skipper—"lost his bark."
