Tho Inspector-General of the Imperial Forcos, General Sir John French, after inspecting tho Canadian field artillery at tho Petewawa Camp, eighty miles west-north-west of the city of Ontario, said that those pcoplo in Britain who thought it impossible to organise and train citizen soldiers up to a high standard of efficiency as artillerymen would have had their eyes opened if thoy had visited Petewawa.
