Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on itheir W-i'kana* sale as follows:—A small , /entry of sheep and cattle sold well, every ; lot bane quitted at the following ratesPat wethers, to 12s. 6d.; fat and forward .ewes, 14a. 3d.; mixed, hoggets, 9s. 6d.; light if at cows, £4 2s. to £5 65.; store cows, £3 2s. 6d.; rail cows, £1 ss. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— At our Marlon sale yesterday there was a .. good entry of sheep. Wether hoggets, 9s. 3d.; mixed hoggets, to lis.; mixed'age breeding ewes, 95., 10s. Bd., to 125.; s.m. breeding ewes, 125., 12s. Id., 12s. Bd. to 135.; two-tooth to four-year ditto, to 175.; empty ewes, lis.; two and four-tooth ewes, in lamb, to 20s. 2d.; dairy cows, to £8. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile report having held their monthly sale at Waikanae on Tuesday. Entries of both sheep and cattle were only moderate, but competition was keen and everything (except two heifers) was quitted.
