Constantinople, June 18. The warships of the Powers will assemble at Suda Bay, on the northern coast' of Crete, before the opening of the Cretan Assembly.

[In a Note on June 11 the Protecting Powers (Britain, France, Russia, and Italy) irarned tho Cretans that unless the Moslem deputies were immediately allowed to sit in the Cretan Chamber without having to take an oath contrary to their conscience, they \ (tho Powers) would consider measures to deal with the situation.]
