MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
. Despite the' unpleasant weather last evening, there was a large number of seamen present at tlie ambulance meeting at- tho Missions to Seamen Institute. ■ Mr. James Mooro, the niissionoi , , gave several demonstrations showing tho methods of bandaging scalp wounds, arms, etc. He also gave useful hints in connection, with health matters. Competitions relating to ambulance work were, licld, and won by sailors from ships in port. A bright musical programme was provided by Mr..Proctor, the- following contributing items:—Miss Keldhouse, Messrs. ,C. Proctor, Hood, and F. J. Proctor. Tho performers were accorded a hearty voto of thanks at the conclusion of the mooting.
