The following officers were elected for the ensuing season President, Mr. W. H. S. Henry; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. Marsden and Maymard; secretary, R. H. Stevens, re-elected; treasurer, Mr. J. G. Castle (re-elected) j General Committee, Messrs, Melhuish, Cowie, Udy, Hay, Gray, P. M'Arthur; trustees' representative, Mr. Coles; auditors, Messrs. 13. Jones and Wilkinson ; delegate to New Zealand Bowling Association, Mr. R. Mothes. Trophies won during the past season were presented to the following members: —Champion' singles: VP. Hay Ist, R. Southgate 2nd. Champion pairs: R. WyJie and E. Jones Ist, J. Gilmour and P. Glew 2nd. Junior singles: C. H. Beynon. Colts singles: A. K. Whitten. It was unanimously decided to forward a letter of sympathy to Mr. C. H. Beynon, regretting his absence through accident. Mr. Henry, ou behalf of Mr. Cowie, moved a motion that Rule 4 be altered by deleting the words, "an unlimited number of," and substituting 110. Mr. Findlay's motion, "That the piece of ground adjoining tho present bowling I green bo acquired for extension- purposes" was lost. Tho motion that by-law JS T o. 9 I be struck out, was carried. Two new mem- ' bers were elected. It was decided to establish a merit board, and discontinue ! the use of trophies. The committee were authorised to consider the advisability of i making necessary alterations to the pai vilion, in accordance with the plan submitted by Mr. Walton. It was resolved that the annual gathering take the form of a eucre party and dance.
