$ C.P.It. AND GRAND TRUNK WAGES. By Telegraph—Press,Association—Copyright. (Eec. June 16, 10.40 p.m.) Ottawa, June 16. A Board of, Conciliation' failed to adjust difficulties due- to the Grand Trunk Railway Company's employees' domaoid for an increase of 40 per cent, in wages, and the demand of tliu Canadian Pacific Railway Company's employees for a 23 per cent, increase. The Canadian Pacific Company were prepared to grant tlio greater part of the increase, but the Grand Trunk Company are unable to afford it, and suggest a gradual increase until their wages are ccjual to tho wages paid by the Canadian Pacific.
