FOX TERRIER CLUB.
-♦ The newly-formed Fox Terrier Club of Wellington held its first general meeting en Wednesday. The adverse weather affected the attendance. Thoio present were:—Messrs. Cimino, C. Griffiths, L. Griffiths, Ilarrap, Minogue, Mnir, Philpot and Shanley. Mr. Harrap was voted to tho chair. The committee submitted a draft of 1G rules. These wero passed, with slight amendments. Tho entrance fee and tho annual subscription v.-ero each fixed at ss„ Mr. Shanley's amendment to make them each 10s. being unsupported. Tho mooting then proceeded to tho election of officers, and Mr. J. F. Mills was unanimously elected president of the club. Mr. Shanley and Mr. Muir wero also, unanimously elected as secretary and ' treasurer respectively. It was resolved to appoint tho vice-presidents at the next general meeting, which takes place on tho lirst Wednesday in July. Tho following committco were then, elected, tho president, treasurer, and secretary to'be ex officio Messrs. Ciinino, H. Griffiths, L. Griffiths, Ilarrap, and Philpot.
